Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great time during the silly season. It's been a minute since my last newsletter. A lot of things have been shaking since, but I didn't join a gym to stop some of it. I've passed on New Year's resolutions. Every day is a new year.
This past Christmas was the first without our kids, who are now adults and live out of state. They didn't come north and we didn't go south. We missed them but that's life in the modern world. I did get to sleep in on Christmas morning, so it wasn't all bad. Plus there were still presents. I enjoy gifts, giving and receiving. Who doesn't?
The Sinful had a resurgence with the release of Into the Marrow, climbing to the number 2 thriller book on Amazon in the United Kingdom. Not a bad feat. I'd like to thank all those beautiful island people for buying The Sinful. It means a lot. Now go ahead and order Into the Marrow. It's a new year and a new you! I'm all about the people, people.
I was interviewed on WTZA 1010 AM Atlanta, talking about the Leroy Cutter Series, Detroit, sex, drugs, and breaking knuckles. It was fun. Gunner and Bill over at the show Our Thing were great. I can't remember a better time during an interview than I had with those two. If you would like to listen to the interview, click here.
As for book three in the Leroy Cutter Series, I am hard at work on it. But I have breaking news for you! The title of the third Leroy Cutter book is:
SONS OF MEN
That's as exciting as it gets at this stage. I will tell you this, though. Sons of Men is a dark and twisted ride. This book is going to put you back on your heels. Maybe even make you question some things. I have to step away now and then while writing it because one can only stand in the darkness for so long before needing some light. I can't wait for you to read it.
Lastly, I want to wish all my readers—some critics—a happy New Year. May you all have good health, good times, and peach on Earth. Adios!
